Lawrie Bacon

Lawrie is Assistant Manager based in the Sheffield Office. He started his recruitment career in the medical sector, but having always been firmly business and finance-minded felt the transition into a role more aligned with this would suit perfectly, which it has!

In his spare time, Lawrie regularly attends gigs and festivals both at home and abroad and loves to travel and tries to get away whenever he can. Closer to home, he enjoys playing football and watching his beloved Sheffield Wednesday.

What is your specialism?

I specialise in recruiting for Part & Newly Qualified Finance across South and West Yorkshire.

What’s your favourite thing about your job?  

Building great relationships with both candidates and clients is the best part about the job, understanding their unique requirements and being able to work closely with them to achieve this is really rewarding. I’m also lucky to work as part of a supportive collaborative team, which makes the job that much more enjoyable.

Where is the best place you have ever been?

I’m having two for this one, one has to be The Maldives for obvious reasons!  My second is a place called Hilton Head Island in the US, great beaches, great seafood and a really laid back vibe, I’ll never tire of visiting there!
